Property History

In 1957, the world's first special facility for flight attendant training, the American Airlines Stewardess College, was built in Dallas/Fort Worth and was one of the first facilities of its kind in the industry. Upon graduation, all students received silver wings by the Director of the College.

The architects of the center were Hedrick and Stanley.
